Below is a list of benefits that our full time (24+ hours/week) employees receive.

SUMMER 2008

EMPLOYEE LIFT PASS: All full-time employees receive a free employee season pass. During the summer, you can ride the lift for scenic views, access to hiking trails, and down hill mountain biking. Returning employees receive free passes for their dependents and new employees can purchase dependent passes at $100 for adult and $50 for child.

FREE GONDOLA RIDES at Jackson Hole: Must be a current employee in good standing.

END OF SEASON BONUS: $0.50/hour for each regular hour worked (does not include overtime hours worked) during the summer season (June 21, 2008 through September 14, 2008 – or through the last day of work for the summer as pre-determined and agreed to between the supervisor and the employee, whichever comes first, but no earlier than August 17, 2008.)

EMPLOYEE ROOM & LOCKERS: New for 07/08, you will enjoy a brand new employee room and lockers. The project is scheduled to be completed near the beginning of the season.

LODGING: All employees are eligible for a 20% discount on lodging for visiting family, pending availability.

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Discounted shift meal while working, see supervisor for details. 20% discount in all other outlets while off duty (excluding alcohol).

RETAIL: All employees receive 25% discount in our retail outlets.

GUEST SERVICES: Employees will receive discounts for resort activities.

SHUTTLE: Free employee shuttle bus running twice daily from Victor/Driggs/Alta that accommodates most shifts. We are committed to protecting our environment and providing a great benefit to our employees.

BACKCOUNTRY.COM: We’ve partnered with this online retailer to provide retail discounts to you. Backcountry.com offers a wide variety of camping, winter, summer and other products. Discounts vary by product. Happy shopping!

SUMMER FUN for YOUR KIDS: Discount rates on childcare at Summer Explorers.

UNIFORMS: Vary by department. Every department has a required uniform.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP): A one-stop resource that offers consultation, information and personalized referrals. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You should talk to your supervisor or HR for details and contact information.

TARGHEE IN THE COMMUNITY: This is your opportunity to work for volunteer projects in Teton Valley and get paid by GTR for the hours worked. Projects are pre-approved by the TIC Administrator. To volunteer, employee must have supervisor’s approval.

TARGHEE ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION: Employees can donate through payroll deductions to projects that contribute to the enhancement & protection of the environmental quality of Teton Valley. GTR matches employee donations. For additional information, contact the Resort Naturalist or HR.

LOCAL DISCOUNTS: GTR employees receive discounts with local merchants in Teton Valley.
