Summer Positions

Housekeepers: Work in a team environment preparing guest rooms for occupancy. $9.00/hour plus incentives

Housepersons: Aid housekeepers by hauling laundry, stocking linen, and assisting in laundry. Must be physically fit and able to lift 30 lbs. $10/hour

Public Area Attendant: Make public areas shine for our guests. $9.00/hour

Front Desk Clerk: Greet our guests as they begin their experience at Targhee! Must have excellent hospitality skills, as well as computer literacy. $9.00/hour

Reservationist: Invite our guests to stay in the room that best fits them and introduce them to activities around the resort. Must have customer service skills and be computer saavy. $10.00/hour

Night Audit (Relief)-FILLED: Give yourself time during the day to enjoy the outdoors! Responsible to check late arriving guests in/out, respond to guest queries/issues, and provide resort information. Ensures financial data entry and manages concerns of night time audit. $10.50/hour

Banquet Captain-FILLED: Be a Lead for the Banquet Staff for our summer functions (festivals, weddings, corporate groups, camps, elder hostel, etc.)! Must have 1-2 years of banquet service experience. $8.00/hour plus gratuities

Banquet Servers: Set up and breakdown Banquets. Run food and beverages during event. $5.85/hour plus gratuities

Targhee Steakhouse Host: Greet guests as they enter into our fine dining establishment. Seat guests at their table. Utilize point of sale system for transactions. $7.50/hour plus tips

Trap Bar & Grille Bartenders: Mix and serve alcoholic beverages. $7.50/hour plus tips

Targhee Steakhouse Servers: Serve at our fine dining restaurant Targhee Steakhouse. $7.50/hour plus tips

Line Cooks: Cook to order meals in the Trap Bar, Targhee Steakhouse, or for Banquets. Includes preparing special meals for groups/meetings. Experience required. $9-$13/hour depending on experience

Trap Bar & Grille Dishwasher: Chill out in the back-of-the-house and wash dishes. $8.00/hour

Trap Bar & Grille Servers: Food and beverage service. $7.50/hour plus tips

Resort Naturalist (Relief): Responsible for developing and implementing environmental, human and natural history educational programs at Grand Targhee Resort. Presents the message on environmental awareness, wildlife, geology, and history to guests and employees of the resort. Promotes the partnership between the Forest Service and the resort, enhancing the visitor's awareness of wildlife, wildlife values, and conservation principles.

Must have Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in a related field from four-year college or university; or two to four years specific related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Standard First Aid certification required.

Summer Explorers Program Leader: Create and implement age appropriate lesson plans for the summer that are geared towards the specific themes of each week. Demonstrate a knowledge and enthusiasm for outdoor/experiential education and a commitment to teaching about the local ecosystems and responsible environmental stewardship. Be responsible for supervising children and employees as well as corresponding with parents. Create a positive, supportive, and professional environment. Perform duties as an Outdoor/Environmental Educator. Personable and outgoing and has had at least one year experience supervising others or teaching in an outdoor setting. Wage is $10.00 to 12.00/hour depending on experience.

Activity Center Clerks: Show our guests how to have summer fun in the Tetons! Provide guest service by helping our guests set up the best activity packages for their visit to Grand Targhee. Utilize basic office equipment: Resort computer system, telephone, copier. Lead guests on outdoor adventures, such as hiking and mountain biking, and other activities upon request. $9.50/hour

Summer Explorers Day Camp Educator: Plan and teach Summer Explorer Programs to youth 3 to 12 years in age. This is an outdoor experiential education program running from June 4 to August 19. Employee Shuttle Driver: Shuttle employees from Victor, Driggs, and Alta up to the Resort. Must have a CDL with a Passenger Endorsement. Start at $12/hour, depending on experience.

Lift Operators: Run the Dream Catcher Lift for guests that wish to site see or bike down the mountain. $9.00/hour

Trail Crew FILLED: Work on our summer bike trails and set up ski trails for the next winter season. Assist with special events, such as the bike races, marathons, festivals, etc. $10.00-$12.00/hour depending on experience

Retail Clerk FILLED: General Store and High Country Colors. $7.50/hour

Maintenance Laborer: Perform general grounds and facilities maintenance. This position is based in Driggs, ID. Starting wage is $9.00/hour.
