Naturalist Programs
We have our very own Resort Naturalist and nature center to get you acquainted with all the flora and fauna of the Tetons. You can touch, feel, smell and experience what real animal fur is all about inside the nature center along with exhibits on geology, trees and much more. The Resort Naturalist is also available for guided nature hikes everyday - contact us for details.
We also offer complimentary Resort Naturalist Programs on Friday evenings starting in June for the whole family. Please see the schedule below.
Further, on select Saturdays we offer full-day, complimentary programs for total immersion. Advance reservations required - see below.

A good look at the wolves in our backyard.

| Saturday, Sharing the Joys of Nature Programs for 2007: |
June 30: Plants of the Tetons
Enjoy a day of class room and field work learning how to identify common local plants. Learn the parts of plants, how to use a dichotomous key, how to use flower guides, and discover the identity of many plants that grow in the Yellowstone Ecosystem.
July 21: Geology of the Tetons
Enjoy the day both in the classroom and the field as we look at the earth's geologic history. We will introduce geologic concepts such as plate tectonics, sedimentary rock formations, normal faults, and bring them to reality as we interpret the landscape of the Tetons on field hikes.
August 18: Edible and medicinal plants of the Tetons
Join a local expert on identifying plants that we can eat or help us heal.
