24 Hour Mountain Bike Race

A unique 24 hour mountain bike race set in the heart of the Tetons. The race can be a solo endurance event or attacked by teams of riders. With $1,000 cash prize for each of the solo and 2 person team divisions ($500 if less than 5 people sign up per category), the race has everything to keep you motivated for 24 hours.

Course

The single track and double track course cruises through the aspens, meadows and
wild flowers of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The race course loop starts in the lower parking lot (#3) and heads up to the top of the Shoshone lift and then drops down and over into Rick's Basin and up to Quakie Ridge and back to the start area. The course is mostly single track with some double track and roads at the start and finish of each loop. Each loop is 7.3 miles with 800 feet of climbing per loop. See course map download on left.

Registration/check-in: 8:00 am - 10:30 am on Saturday; Start/Finish Area
Event Start: 12:00 pm on Saturday; Start/Finish Area
Event End: 12:00 pm on Sunday; Start/Finish Area
Award Ceremony: Following race; Start/Finish Area

Prizes

$1000.00 cash prize ($500 if less than 5 people sign up per category) for 1st place in (Solo/ 2person) male/ female/ coed divisions
Other prizes may include Grand Targhee Resort Season Passes, SnowCat skiing, music festivals tickets, a raffle for lots of other goodies, etc.
