Pass Cancellation & Returns Policy

Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and will not be rolled over. Please see the insurance tab at the top of this page for details on Season Pass Insurance and the Grand Targhee Resort Pass Cancellation/ Return Policy.

*Purchase four Friends & Family tickets per day at 20% off window rates. Friends & Family tickets are available at the Grand Targhee Resort ticket windows and Activity Center. The Grand Targhee Resort Season Passholder must be present with his or her 2013/14 season pass to receive special friends and family pricing. Multi-day tickets are not eligible.

Season Pass Rules

• Age Qualifications - December 1, 2013 is the birthday cut-off date for the 2013-2014 season. How old is your child on Dec 1, 2013?
• Family Passes - Please fill in each family member’s full name and age. Any number of family members are eligible UP THROUGH THE AGE OF 21 & CLAIMED AS DEPENDENTS ON YOUR 2011 OR 2012 TAX RETURN. PHOTOCOPIES OF THE TAX RETURN MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME THE PASS IS PURCHASED. There will be no exceptions. Birth certificates are no longer required. You may bring your return into the Activity Center or fax it to 307.353.8148 with “Attention: Activity Center.” Please blackout any private information.
• Full-time College Pass Purchase must be accompanied by proof of Fall registration or schedule. Undergraduate Students must be taking a minimum of 12 credit hours and graduate students a minimum of 9 credit hours present a valid college I.D. and letter from the school's Bursar's office to qualify.
• Replacement or re-printed passes will cost $25. Do not loose your pass.
• Your pass is NON-Refundable and NON-Transferable and will not be rolled over.
• Fraudulent use of season passes will not be tolerated.

Your 2013-14 Winter Season Pass can be used to ride the chairlift for scenic rides or mountain biking for FREE during the the summer of 2013!

Grand Targhee Resort will not process season passes for Friends & Family who are not present.

• Grand Targhee Resort anticipates being open November 22, 2013 - April 20, 2014.
• Lifts will operate based on business levels and weather conditions
  (e.g. Sacajawea and Blackfoot will be closed early and late season weather and conditions permitting).
• Grand Targhee Resort offers season pass insurance through a third party company (Travel Guard) which covers passholders for season ending injuries as well as situations like job relocation and loss.
• Proof of age is required at time of pick-up on all passes. All pass holders under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Forms may be downloaded off of our web site (see waiver on left). Please bring a photo ID, birth certificate, or other legal document when you come to have your pass processed.

Please remember to subscribe to the season pass email list when you have your pass processed; it is the best way to find out about great specials just for you.

Season Pass Insurance Details

Season Pass Insurance is available for an additional 6% of the pass purchase price, and is available as a pass option when you add a pass to your cart in our online store www.shop.grandtarghee.com. Please visit our Activity Center for in person or phone purchases 1 307-353-2300 opt. 2.

Protect Yourself

• What happens if you get sick, injured or are unable to use your ski pass?
• Pass Insurance provides coverage for you and your investments when the unexpected happens.
• Cancellation: for incidents that occur prior to the start of the ski season, full cost of a season pass is covered if you are unable to use it for the entire season due to a covered reason.
• Interruption: for incidents that occur after the ski season begins, we reimburse a pro-rated value if you are no longer able to use the season pass due to a covered reason.
• Covered reasons include:
  • Sickness
  • Injury
  • Job Transfer
  • Complications of Pregnancy
  • Pregnancy or Childbirth
  • Military Deployment
  • Employer Termination or Layoff
  • Death of a Family Member

Pass Insurance Rules & Benefits

Pass Insurance is not transferable or refundable. If you do not accept pass insurance, you will not be eligible for a refund or a roll over and understand that passes are not transferable. You have 30 days from the purchase of your pass or the beginning date of the winter season, whichever comes later, to purchase pass insurance. Insurance is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., a Pennsylvania Insurance Company (NAIC #19445). It is currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. The Policy will contain reductions, limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. All coverages may not be available in all states.
