June 22-27, 2008Greater Yellowstone Music CampMike Dowling’s rootsy, bluesy, jazzy Greater Yellowstone Music Camp, held in the beautiful Grand Teton Mountains near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, offers the finest in acoustic blues and swing instruction for guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and bass. Instructors for 2008 include Mike Dowling, John Miller, Orville Johnson, Roger Bellow, Dix Bruce, Randy Sabien, Liz Masterson, Suze Spencer Marshall, Cary Black and Jeff Newsom.
June 25-29, 2008Ultrarunning Camp in the Grand Tetons!Camp will be led by Dreamchasers Outdoor Adventure Club co-founders: Lisa Smith-Batchen and her husband, Jay Batchen. Camp begins at 5pm on Wednesday, June 25th and finishes at 12 noon on Sunday, June 29th, 2008. Nestled on the western slope of the Grand Tetons, camp will take place at Grand Targhee Resort, 60-90 minute drive from the Jackson Hole, WY airport and the Idaho Falls, ID airport. Grand Targhee Resort is an ideal place for trail running, road running, power walking and offers numerous cross-training options. Typical weather in June in the Tetons is difficult to predict …it can be sunny and warm or there could be snow flurries (like any mountain trail race)! We will find a way to train in any of these conditions and we will provide you with a packing list to help you prepare for this adventure.
July 4, 200813th Annual WYDAHO Mountain Bike RaceThis annual single-track race has become a favorite Wyoming mountain bike race for enthusiasts of all ages. This race meanders through the spectacular Caribou-Targhee National Forest and fields of wildflowers just a short distance from Jackson Hole.
July 18-20, 20084th Annual Targhee FestJoin us for this fantastic event now extended to three days. A festival for music lovers everywhere and should not be missed.
