Miller Sisters

The Roots... Growing up in the Midwest on a farm in Southern Minnesota, there was always something special about our family and how much we enjoyed music. The last two children of a tight-knit family of ten, we stuck by each other through thick and thin and we (the Miller Sisters) decided to take our high-energy music show beyond our small town.

Country that Rocks... At that point (1999-2001), we began to realize our music had a definite rockabilly edge, and what better place to get that party started than the Music City USA-- Nashville, Tennessee!? Two awesome years later < filled with songwriting, meetings, open mics, and on-stage blues/country performances> it was time to adventure on!! Short stops in San Francisco, CA and Jackson Hole, WY (2001-2002) brought us to our next destination- Reno, Nevada (2002-2003).

Super Songwriting... Reno had a nice charm and sent songwriting to new heights. Performing in taverns, coffee shops and for special functions, we enjoyed the wonderful people and the amazing beauty of Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas. We stayed in Reno for about a year and worked with some very talented musicians.

Alaska's Beauty... All of our previous journeys in the lower 48 states soon pointed us to 'God's Country'- Alaska (2003). Different than anything we'd ever experienced--- the land in Alaska was straight from heaven and had a major impact on our music. We played for some music fests and intimate crowds and things really started moving.

At Home in Jackson Hole... After some reflection and soul searching in Alaska, we are now in Victor, Idaho (just over Teton Pass from Jackson, WY: 2004-2006) and are part of an excellent band "Mandatory Air" playing in and around Jackson Hole and Victor. We are having a great time doing bigger shows and making new friends playing at places like the Mangy Moose, Teton Village, Sidewinders, Stagecoach, Knotty Pine, Jackson Lake Lodge, Snow King Resort, and more....
