2013 Freestyle Aerial Competition

Competitors will be judged on their run consisting of three jumps


The riders will be judged on style, control, and overall flow. Each rider will be awarded up to 10 points per jump (based on their style, control and flow), and the riders’ score will be the sum of their best score on each jump. For example, if there are 3 jumps, the top score a rider can achieve is 30 points (10 points per jump with 3 jumps available).

Style – The complexity and versatility of the rider’s maneuvers.

Control – The rider’s visible level of comfort and how natural/unnatural their body position is.

Overall Flow – The rider’s ability to fluidly take off, perform maneuvers, and land multiple hits in a row.


1. Youngsters – Ages 5 to 10 (discipline non-specific)

2. Early Teens – Ages 11 to 14 (discipline non-specific)

3. Teens – Ages 15 to 18 (ski)

4. Teens – Ages 15 to 18 (snowboard)

5. Adults – Ages 19 and up (ski)

6. Adults – Ages 19 and up (snowboard)

*This is a guideline and is dependent on the number and discipline of registrants.


1. Overall Best Rider (covers all ages & divisions)

2. First place in each division

3. Best single trick (covers all ages & divisions)

Participants will need to sign a release of liability. If you are under 18, you will need to bring the release with you on the day of the event. Please stay posted for release. Release of Liability
