Grand Targhee Resort Announces Changes in Management
(Alta, WY – August 2, 2011) -- Grand Targhee is pleased to announce the following additions to and restructuring of the resort management team.
Geordie Gillett, Grand Targhee Resort Managing Partner, will serve as General Manager of the resort.
Ken Rider has joined Grand Targhee as the new Director of Marketing and Sales. Ken held a number of roles at Tamarack Resort, and most recently was the Director of Marketing, Sales and Lodging Services. Prior to Tamarack, Ken was with Intrawest in Colorado where he was the Partnership and Promotions Manager and was responsible for all partnership programs and relationships for Copper Mountain Resort, Winter Park Resort and Breeze/Max Ski and Snowboard Rentals.
“I am very excited to move to the Teton Valley and work at such a great resort known for its amazing snow, recreational activities and guest service,” said Rider.
Cassie Abel joins Grand Targhee as Marketing Manager. Cassie comes from GMR Marketing based in San Francisco where she was responsible for Sponsorship and Event Marketing for Visa’s Fine Wine and Food program.
“I am looking forward to taking on this role as well as the new energy, excitement and experience that Ken and Cassie bring to the Grand Targhee Resort family,” said Gillett.
