EARLY BIRD PASS DEALS FOR 'SUMMER OF MUSIC 2012'

GRAND TARGHEE RESORT ANNOUNCES DATES AND EARLY BIRD PASS DEALS FOR ‘SUMMER OF MUSIC 2012’

·         Initial confirmed bands also announced 

(Alta, WY – January 31, 2012)  Grand Targhee Resort today announced the official dates for the 8th Annual Targhee Music Festival and the 25th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival. The 8th Annual Targhee Music Festival will be held on July 13, 14 and 15, 2012 and the 25th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival will be held on August 10, 11 and 12, 2012. Early bird three-day and six-day Summer Music Festival Passes will be available online only and in limited quantities, beginning February 1, 2012.

Initial confirmed bands for the 8th Annual Targhee Music Festival held on July 13-15, 2012 include; JJ Grey & Mofro, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears and Paul Thorn.

Initial confirmed bands for the 25th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival held on August 10-12, 2012 include; The Infamous Stringdusters, Steep Canyon Rangers, Donna the Buffalo, Kanes River, Hot Rize, and Darrell Scott.

Music Passes, available online only:

Beginning February 1, 2012 Grand Targhee Resort will offer several early bird options in both three-day and six-day festival passes for music lovers to lock in their reduced admission to the festivals. Early bird passes will only be available online and in limited quantities. Passes are non-transferable and not refundable. Passes will be available for pick-up beginning June 1, 2012 at Grand Targhee Resort’s Activities Center during operating hours or can be mailed with fee after June 1, 2012.

Early Bird three-day pass for the 8th Annual Targhee Music Festival

Pricing:    $99 plus $5 processing fee for three days of Music (Quantities are limited)

Includes:  Admission to main Music Festival for all three days of music

                Free parking pass and shuttle pass

Early Bird three-day pass for the 25th Annual Grand Targhee Bluegrass Festival

Pricing:    $99 plus $5 processing fee for three days of Music (Quantities are limited)

Includes:  Admission to main Music Festival for all three days of music

                Free parking pass and shuttle pass

Early Bird Grand Targhee ‘Summer of Music’ Pass

Pricing:    $179 plus $5 processing fee for six days of Music (Quantities are limited)

Includes:  Admission to six main Music Festival for all six days of music

                Lift access for all summer and six days during the festivals

                Free parking pass and shuttle pass

4th Night Free Festival Lodging Package:

Grand Targhee Resort will begin taking reservations immediately for lodging during the music festivals. The best deal available will include a 4th Night Free Promotion for all lodging guests booking early. Available lodging options include all on-mountain and vacation rental properties located on Ski Hill Road. The 4th Night Free Festival Lodging package will begin on Thursday prior to each festival and will include a free shuttle to the FREE ‘Music on Main” concert held in Victor by the Teton Valley Foundation. The 4th Night Free Packages gives music lovers the ability to enjoy four days of music and rest up on Sunday night before heading back to the real world on Monday.
