(Alta, WY August 12, 2014) August 29 through September 1 marks the fifth year for the Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival. This festival is one of the best bike festivals in the West and is located in mountain biking’s best kept secret: Teton Valley. With hundreds of miles of singletrack, downhill trails, and unbelievable scenic views, it’s no wonder Teton Valley continues to attract bikers from across the country. The Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival is also one of the biggest fundraising events in the valley for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways (TVTAP).

TVTAP promotes a trails and pathways connected community. The organization bring together citizens, businesses, and local governments to expand the Valley’s opportunities for outdoor recreation and nature appreciation, while linking communities, providing access to National Forest trails, and promoting healthy mountain lifestyles.

The Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike festival brings riders of all levels together with daily group rides, clinics, including women’s only clinics, races, demos, a kids bike race and Strider Cup, live music from Westwater Outlaws and Jonathan Warren and the Billygoats, a beer garden and more. Festival registration includes a weekend chairlift pass, raffle tickets, unlimited 2015 bike demos, discounts on entries for races, unlimited group rides, and a goodie bag filled with swag from sponsors including an event T-shirt, coupons for local bike shops, area maps, stickers and more.

Tim Adams, Executive Director for TVTAP noted, “We started with the idea that we wanted to have a fundraiser that highlighted our great trails and provided an economic stimulus for our community. In five years our small local gathering has grown into an event that draws riders from across the United States. We are so proud of what we have accomplished in a short time and look forward to the continued success of our Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival.”
