Mountains, wildlife, pure air and groomed tracks come together to make the Grand Targhee Trail system a Nordic winter wonderland. Ricks Basin and Quakie Ridge have long been considered some of the most beautiful Nordic terrain in the region. Our trail system offers 15km of groomed classic cross country trails and skate skiing lanes that wind through wooded glades, aspen groves, and scenic meadows.
For the 2010-11 winter season, our Nordic trails are groomed, and the classic track is set, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The "Mountain News" section of our snow conditions page will be updated daily with nordic track grooming information.

INSTRUCTION
Cross Country and Skate Skiing lessons are available for all ability levels through the Grand Targhee Ski & Snowboard School. Learn to enjoy one of these Nordic disciplines from our friendly and knowledgeable instructors in either a private or group lesson.
