Mountains, wildlife, pure air and groomed tracks come together to make the Targhee Nordic Trail System a cross-country wonderland. Rick's Basin, long considered one of the most beautiful nordic areas in the country, offers 15 kilometers of groomed skating lanes and tracks through wooded glades and scenic meadows. And Targhee typically enjoys the earliest snowfall in the Tetons, so you're well on your way to terrific track skiing by mid-November. Telemark skiing on the mountain is another fantasitc option and provides some of the best terrain to learn. We also host an annual Telemark Festival in the spring - an event not to be missed!
