Freestyle Snowboard Sessions
Designed for kids of all ages and abilities, the Saturday Freestyle Snowboard Sessions will build your freestyle skills and confidence in the Terrain Park and secret stashes of Grand Targhee Resort. The daily curriculum will be designed around riders’ abilities and personal interests. The Sessions recommend having intermediate or above riding skills.
Freestyle Skills: Improve your Park progression, create and push your style on jumps, boxes, rails, and jibs in the Targhee Terrain Park.
Freeride Skills: Build your core riding skills by learning to carve, explore powder, trees, steeps and jumps around Grand Targhee.
Safety:: Learn to incorporate Smart Style (see link for detailed safety information topics) into your riding. It’s all about pushing limits while properly assessing the many different features of the Terrain Park and the mountain. “Know it, Respect it, Use it!”
Our Instructors:: The AASI-certified (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) pros of the Snowboard School will assess rider abilities and develop a custom daily curriculum built around the group’s level and interests.
