Our trail maps are designed to help you and your family maximize the enjoyment and safety of our mountain terrain.  Please keep our Responsibility Code and Terrain Park Guidelines, foremost in your mind as you hit the slopes.

SKIERS AND RIDERS SHOULD BE ADVISED THAT A GREEN CIRCLE, BLUE SQUARE OR BLACK DIAMOND TRAIL AT YOUR AREA IS NOT NECESSARILY THE SAME AS A SIMILARLY RATED TRAIL AT ANOTHER AREA. THE SYSTEM IS A RELATIVE SYSTEM THAT IS VALID ONLY AT THIS AREA. SKIERS AND RIDERS SHOULD WORK THEIR WAY UP, BEGINNING WITH THE EASIEST TRAILS NO MATTER WHAT THEIR ABILITY LEVEL MAY BE, UNTIL THEY ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE TRAILS AT THE AREA.

Be advised that all poles and/or flags, fencing, signage and padding on equipment or objects or other forms of marking devices are used by the ski area to inform you of the presence or location of a potential obstacle or hazard. These markers are no guarantee of your safety and will not protect you from injury. It is part of your responsibility under Your Responsibility Code to avoid all obstacles or hazards, including those that are so marked.

Super Snow Guarantee
With Grand Targhee's abundant snowfall, over 43 feet each season, it’s no wonder that year after year national ski magazines rate Grand Targhee among the top five resorts in the West for snow quality and quantity. Not only do we get more natural snowfall (659 inches in ‘96-‘97) than most resorts, our snow is drier (less than 5% water content) and thus lighter.

We are so confident that you will enjoy our snow conditions every day of the season that we offer our no-questions-asked SUPER SNOW GUARANTEE. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the snow conditions at Grand Targhee, simply return your lift ticket to the Ticket Office within one hour of the time of purchase and you will receive a "Snow Check" good for another lift ticket on any day during the 2006-2007 season. The snow check is non-transferable.
