Group Workshops

Our Workshop concept is designed to focus on your desired outcomes. You may want to learn to ride powder off-trail, hit the terrain park, link carved turns on the groomers, or need help with the crud...or you may be discovering boarding for the first time! If any of these apply, then our Workshops are definitely for you! Group Workshops are 2 hours long with meeting times at 9:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. daily. (Minimum Age 8)

Off Trail Clinic

Designed for intermediate skiers/riders to get on the hill early for three hours of world class instruction taking advantage of our legendary fresh powder or tracked powder.

Private Lessons

Many of our guests prefer the one-on-one attention and focus they receive in private lessons. This offers the flexibility of going when you want, for as long as you want, or bring along a friend and learn together in a "semi-private" lesson. You can also request your favorite instructor (private lessons subject to availability).

'Start Me Up' Beginner Package

Targhee's best deal for learning to ski/ride. The Beginner Package includes 1 group lesson, a Shoshone lift ticket & full day rental package. Lessons are two hours long with meeting times at 9:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. daily.

Visit the Ski & Snowboard School first to register and receive your rental voucher; you will then proceed to the Rental Shop. Please register for your lessons one hour prior to allow time to visit the rental shop.

'Tune It Up' Intermediate Package

New for the 06-07 season, this is another great deal for taking your skiing to the next level. The 'Tune It Up' Package includes 1 group lesson and an all mountain lift ticket. Lessons are two hours long with meeting times at 9:50 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. daily.

In-Bounds Adventure Program

The In-Bounds Adventure Program is for folks seeking something other than a conventional lesson while at the same time discovering the mountain with helpful tips provided along the way. Experienced Ski School instructors/guides will take you and/or your group for half or full day tours.

Punch Pack

This is a multi-week Ski & Snowboard School package perfect for taking your skiing and riding to the next level.

You simply purchase an electronic punch card (you have the option to purchase 6 to 10 punches) and use them on Saturday or Sunday over a ten week period.

Program begins January 12, 2008 and ends March 16, 2008(excluding February 16 & 17, 2008). Please note that the punches are only valid on Saturday and Sunday following the discipline schedule below.

The ’07-’08 season marks our third year offering the unique Burton Learn To Ride program developed in 1998 by Burton and snowboard instructors from around the world. The program will make learning to ride easy and fun. Learning to ride at Grand Targhee will provide the best snowboarding experience for beginners you can find. Using specialized equipment created specifically for beginners, Learn To Ride will get you there!
