Powder Scouts & Teen Adventures
Kids from 7 to 14 years old believe it's more than a stroke of luck that they're cruising the mountain with kids their own age and ability. They like their own private clubhouse and love that adults don't hang out except to say hi and bye.
Powder Scouts will explore the mountain with awesome instructors and learn to ski some of Grand Targhee's famous runs like the Wacky Weasel Way, the Bat Cave, Bird Brains and more.

Ski & Snowboard School Birthday Parties!
A birthday party in the "PSHQ" with "Fred" the moose and a semi-private lesson with all your friends!
Rent the PSHQ for your birthday party with the purchase of Ski & Snowboard School Lessons (customizable for your group). Rental fee will be determined by numbers of participants and lesson purchase types.

Punch Pack
(Save nearly 50% off lessons!) This is a multi-week Ski & Snowboard School package perfect for taking your kid's skiing and riding to the next level.
You simply purchase an electronic punch card (you have the option to purchase 6 to 10 punches) and use them on Sunday over an eight week period.
Program begins January 10, 2010 and ends March 7, 2010 (excluding February 14, 2010).

The ’09-10’ season marks our 5th year offering the unique Burton Learn To Ride program developed in 1998 by Burton and snowboard instructors from around the world for ages 7 and up. The program will make learning to ride easy and fun. Learning to ride at Grand Targhee will provide the best snowboarding experience for beginners you can find. Using specialized equipment created specifically for beginners, Learn To Ride will get you there!
Ski or ride our Papoose Conveyor (Magic Carpet®)!
You will be whisked to the top of our beginner area gently and quickly (giving you more time on the slopes)! Our beginner guests have often remarked how difficult and exhausting it can be to get back up the hill for another run. Well, that struggle is officially over! Now our students can focus on the important things: enjoying the snow and improving their skills - quickly.
Parent's Checklist:
- Appropriate warm clothing including neck gaiter and dressed in layers with waterproof outer layers
- 1 pair of thick, long socks (wool is better; avoid cotton)
- Helmet/Wrist Guards (recommended for snowboarders, not required)
- Ski/Snowboard equipment (leave ample time if renting equipment)
- Eye protection (Goggles/Sunglasses), sunscreen, lip balm
- Arrive well hydrated and fed (bladder empty and tummy full)
- If you are purchasing a lesson package, visit the Ski & Snowboard School first to register and receive your rental voucher; you will then proceed to the Rental Shop. Please register for your lessons one hour prior to allow time to visit the rental shop.
- Be sure to arrive early as all lessons start promptly at their scheduled times
