MEET THE TEAM

The 2020/21 Winter Season is underway, and we are excited to be working with you this year. We are elated to have a strong team of individuals this year that are ready to help you with all of your property needs. Learn a bit more about each of them, and know that they are here for you.

ERIKA GRDEN: DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Erika joined GTR in 2020 and brings more than 25 years of Property Management experience, including knowledge regarding Vacation Rentals, HOA’s, Condo Associations, and Townhome Associations. Bringing an understanding of maintaining and enhancing Property Value and Association Covenants; we are fortunate to be able to move her into this role and take advantage of her background and expertise.

ALISON ARBELO: DIRECTOR OF HOUSEKEEPING

Alison came to Grand Targhee Resort 7 years ago with experience in the finance, retail, and hospitality industries.  Alison’s diverse background offers excellent guest service, attention to detail, and is awesome at finding creative solutions for any situation that comes her way.   She sets high standards for her department that have resulted in high guest satisfaction scores and reviews. Alison’s love for Teton Valley and all it has to offer is a reflection of her dedication to the job.

MICHAEL WEST: PM HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER

Michael West came to Grand Targhee in 2018 with 25+ years of international business management, with a focus on Quality Management. As the Property Management Housekeeping Manager, Michael’s attention to detail, systems implementation, and oversight has been an outstanding addition.

BEN HITCHCOCK: MAINTENANCE FOREMAN

Ben has been working on homes since he could walk. As a direct result of his early know-how, Ben successfully owned and operated his own handyman business for 9 years. Desiring a life closer to nature in Teton Valley, Ben brought his skills to the Grand Targhee Property Management Team in 2018. As the Maintenance Foreman, Ben enjoys solving problems and saving our homeowners money.

DEVIN ROUNDY: PROPERTY MANAGER 

Devin comes from a lengthy background in guest services and has experience in accounting, having spent three years in the accounting department for a mortgage brokerage. He has spent time managing the Front Desk for us and now joins us as the Property Manager.

ROLLIE JOHNSON-SCHUNK: PM ASSISTANT

Rollie comes to us with a background in property management. His experience includes employee housing, lease management, and tenant maintenance.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

This year looks a bit different than most. Our team is dedicated to protecting the safety of you, our guests, and our employees. To do that, we have enacted the following policies and procedures:

  • No more than 6 guests in the lobby at a time.
  • Masks are mandatory inside the office.
  • The currently accepted form of payment is a credit card.
  • No stayover service will be provided for vacation rentals.
  • Housing is using CDC approved disinfecting solutions and UV light wands in all vacation rental units.
  • Shuttle service remains complementary to all lodging guests. Face Coverings are required and enhanced cleaning procedures continue throughout the day.
  • Pillow encasements have been put on all vacation rental bed pillows.
  • All full-day lift tickets must be pre-purchased online before arriving at the resort. 
INVENTORY TIME

It’s the perfect time of the year for the team to review your property’s inventory and let you know what we find! Our list of ‘must haves’ is essential to ensure that your vacation rental will offer guests the best experience. Some of the items we will be looking to make sure are in place are:

  • A knife block.
  • A microwave splash guard.
  • A fire extinguisher.
  • Soap dishes.
  • Box spring encasements- these will be taking the place of bed skirts to allow for a cleaner/safer environment.
  • Enough pillows for all guests.
