Teton Dirt Classic Overall & XC Results

Downhill Results

On-site Registration: In the Plaza beginning at 8:00am Saturday & Sunday.

Point-to-point style x-c race and a Super D race, with the combined overall champion. Field limit of 150 racers. First up we’ll put together an all singletrack cross-country race and if that isn’t enough to get you excited to ride the Tetons we’ll follow it up with our annual Super D race with its jaw dropping 4000′ of descending. Race them both on the same bike and you’ll be able to compete for the overall championship. There’s $4800 up for grabs in cash prizes!

Field limit of 150 racers.

Stage #1

Saturday, September 5 at 9:00am
The Grand Loop, a point-to-point 25 mile cross country race.

25 mile course with 4200’ vertical feet of elevation. Starts at base area – Up the Shoshone Road to Shoshone trail, More Cowbell, to Perm-a-Grin. Head to Rick’s Basin to Northwood’s/Quakie, then back to the base area and out the PRT Road to Peaked trail and Ain’t Life Grand. Head to 38 Special, and up Colter’s Escape, to Buffalo Soldier and back on Andy’s.

X-C Race entry includes race shirt and event water bottle – $50 until September 3, day of registration is $65.

Win Prize Money for each individual race, and overall King/Queen of the Dirt! $300 for 1st place men/women, $200 for 2nd place men/women, and $100 for 3rd place men/women.


Stage #2

Sunday, September 6 at 10:00am
The Annual Wydaho Super D decends from the top of Grand Targhee Resort to Teton Canyon below.

This 9.9 mile course with 3,952’ vertical feet of elevation change starts on Grand Traverse Trail to Upper Buffalo Drop then descends Bullwinkle to the Grand Targhee base area. You’ll then ride up Andy’s to the cut-off on Buffalo Soldier, then descend Colter’s Escape to Mill Creek Trail, and continues to descend down the Mill Creek Trail to Teton Canyon.

Super D Race entry includes race socks; $40 lift pass valid until September 3, day of race registration is $60.
Win Prize Money for each individual race, and overall King/Queen of the Dirt!! $300 for 1st men/women, $200 for 2nd men/women, and $100 for 3rd men/women.

Wydaho Rendezvous Bike Festival participants will get a free lunch for each day they race.

Overall Dirt King/Queen

Overall racers must use the same bike for both races.

There will be a mandatory bike weigh-in and parts check starting at 8:00am each morning at the start line. No switching of parts or modifying of parts. The bike must weigh the same each day, or rider is bumped from the Overall Dirt King & Queen category.

Both race entry includes race socks, shirt, water bottle, and lift pass for Super D – $85 until September 3, day of registration is $110.

Win Prize Money! $500 for 1st place men/women,$300 for 2nd place men/women $300, $200 for 3rd place men/women, and $100 for 4th place men/women, as well as 5th place men/women.

The overall champions will be decided by a point system, not overall time.

6th Annual TVTAP Wydaho Rendezvous Teton Mountain Bike Festival – Teton Valley Trails And Pathways (TVTAP) announces the 6th Annual Wydaho Rendezvous Mountain Bike Festival. The event takes place September 4 through September 7 at multiple locations throughout the Teton Valley, Idaho and with it’s hub being at Grand Targhee Resort.
