Major Zephyr was founded after long-time Jackson Hole musicians Jeff Eidemiller, Pete Muldoon, and Marshall Davis spent a month in Mendoza, Argentina at La Flora Estudio writing and recording music for a future project. After returning to the US, they decided to name the band Major Zephyr, and their first show was as the opener for Deer Tick. Major Zephyr plays a mix of Americana/Alt Country, and is guitar-driven and thematically political and philosophical. While they play mostly original set for festivals and club dates, they’re also comfortable playing a wide mix of genres for weddings and other special events.
