New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Ring in the New Year at Grand Targhee with a packed full evening. Take part in the torchlight parade or just watch from the bottom with a drink in your hand. A firework show will be paired with the torchlight parade as is tradition. The Torchlight Parades will start at 5:00pm with the children’s parade and the adult parade and fireworks to follow around 5:40pm.

• You can register for the Torchlight Parade from Dec 27th – Dec 31st by…
  • Going to the Ski School office in person.
  • Calling Reservations at 307-353-2300 ext.1800.

  • Please sign your waiver here.

•  Children’s Torchlight Parade (Ages 5-12)
  • Children ages 5-12 can register before 4:15pm on the 31st at the ski school office.
  • Prepare to load the Shoshone lift at 4:30pm sharp.
  • Kids will use glow sticks.
  • The parade is capped at 100 participants. 
• Adult Torchlight Parade (Ages 13+)
  • Register before 4:45pm on the 31st at the ski school office.
  • Roadside flares are used in the adult parade so participants are encouraged to wear clothing appropriate for handling these torches.
  • Meet at the ski school office at 4:45pm on the 31st to load Shoshone at 5:00pm. 
  • The parade will start around 5:40pm. 
  • The parade is capped at 100 participants. 

The Branding Iron will be having a special New Year’s Eve Dinner and the Trap Bar will be partying late into the night with live music by the Cadillacs from 10:00pm – 1:00am.
