Winter 2016/17 Opening Day – Delayed

Grand Targhee Resort is delaying opening day due to the unseasonably warm weather that the region is experiencing. The evening temperatures at the resort have not been conducive for snowmaking and the warm weather melted much of the snow that Grand Targhee received in October. The regional forecast shows cooler temperatures and more precipitation begin trending in the resort’s favor on Sunday. At this point in time the resort does not have an anticipated opening date but will be communicating one as soon as the conditions allow.
