Women’s Level 1 Mountain Bike Camp, Amanda Carey
These camps are designed for female riders with some mountain biking experience. Fundamental skills such as cornering, vision, body position, clearing small obstacles and braking will be covered and will benefit everyone from experienced beginners to more advanced intermediates. Instruction will take place on intermediate (blue) cross-country trails and in a designated skills practice area and is always catered to individual skill levels. The camp’s focus is to learn and master all the fundamental skills that will make all riders of all abilities more confident riders.

About Amanda Carey (IMBA Certified Bike Instructor)
A professional racer since 2007, Amanda Carey was the National Ultra Endurance Series Overall Champion in 2010 and 2011. Although she has found great success as a professional mountain bike and cyclocross racer, her true passion lies in coaching. Amanda is a certified Level 2 IMBA skills instructor and also has a master’s degree in sports psychology. She lives in Victor, Idaho, where she can be found enjoying the unparalleled mountain biking trails throughout Teton Valley.
