Grand Targhee Bike Park Passes
We want to extend a huge thank you to all of you who have been up to Grand Targhee Resort to ride the downhill bike trails! We appreciate the support and, in so many ways, feel the love of this incredible community. We feel very fortunate to be open for the 2020 season, as many difficult decisions have been made to get us to this point. As many of you know, some of the outcomes of COVDID was closing early for winter, summer cancellations of festivals, weddings and events, and limited operations. We are facing a summer of unknown business levels, and we have had to make hard decisions, like reducing the hours of Shoshone to Friday – Monday. However, we have increased the number of Fridays that Shoshone will run until 7:00pm (every Friday, July 3 – September 4). Operating Shoshone four days a week is one of several decisions that the resort made so we could open our doors. We physically cannot operate Shoshone seven days a week this summer. To open for summer, we asked our small team of employees, supervisors, managers, and directors to work outside of their normal home departments to run the lifts, clean the lodges, check-in lodging guests, and work the ticket booth, to name a few. We will continue to monitor business levels and make changes where we can, given the uncertainty of the following months ahead and the staffing challenges we are currently facing. COVID-19 has dramatically affected the resort in ways not visible to the public, and we thank you for your understanding as we navigate the season.
