It’s official, the holidays are here. Grand Targhee has the most snow in the Rockies, making it an ideal place to spend your vacation. Don’t miss a beat this holiday season with our helpful trip planning guide.
The Trap Bar & Grill offers daily specials, as well as live music on the weekends. They also partake in the festivities with an Ugly Sweater Party on the 23rd, an open mic night, and a New Year’s Eve live music bash. Details on all of the Trap’s events can be found here.
After a long day of fresh turns, there is nothing better than loosening those boots at The Branding Iron Grill, serving après daily from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. They also offer a delicious Christmas Day Dinner. You can reserve your place by calling 307.353.2300 X 1368.
Starting the 22nd of December and going through New Year’s Day, the mountain will have plenty of festive activities for all. Look forward to a Gingerbread Party, après with the naturalist, fireworks, a visit with Santa, and much more!

Throughout the day, there are shuttles running from the resort to multiple places in the valley. There will be extended hours scheduled for New Year’s Eve. Check out the shuttle schedule here, and eliminate the need to drive up and down the hill.
Did you know the resort offers not only child care but a ‘Kid’s Night Out’ as well? It’s a great way for both you and the kids to enjoy a night on the mountain. While you have a child free night, the little ones will be treated to a snowshoe tour, pizza, a movie, and more! Ages 2 months to 12 years are welcome to attend.
