Make the most of your day at Grand Targhee knowing your kids are in good hands. Huckleberry Patch is our licensed on-mountain daycare for children ages 1–5, providing a safe, fun place to play while you ski or ride.
Our days are filled with age-appropriate activities, including indoor and outdoor play, crafts, games, stories and plenty of time to explore. Whether you’re heading out for a few runs or spending the day on the mountain, we’ll keep the kids busy while you enjoy Targhee.
Daycare Options
- Ages 1: AM Half-day care, Monday–Thursday only
- Ages 2–5: AM Half-day and full-day options available
TINY TURNS PRIVATE LESSONS
If your 3-5 year old is ready, try our private Tiny Turns lessons to help them transition into ski or snowboard lessons. You can add a discounted Tiny Turns lesson to your daycare reservation.

QUICK NOTES
- Space is limited. Advanced bookings recommended, especially during peak times and holidays. Online bookings close 48 hours prior to booking date.
- Required Immunization Records need to be emailed to daycare@grandtargee.com prior to first enrollment date. Please see the Required Records in the Documents section below.
- Please bring cold weather clothing and listed items needed for all children. The list can be found in the Waivers and Documents section.
- Online booking and Season Pass Discounts cannot be combined.
How To Book
Book online or by emailing our daycare team at daycare@grandtarghee.com with any questions or to reserve your spot. Before booking, please gather the following information:
- Parent/Guardian's First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth
- Child's First Name, Last Name and Date of Birth
- Parent Email Address
- Parent Phone Number
- Read the Required Immunization Records document prior to booking (found in Waivers and Documents Section below).
If the date you are looking for is fully booked, please email daycare@grandtarghee.com to be added to the waitlist for that day.
CHeck-In
Please check-in at the Huckleberry Patch Daycare, located across from the Plaza near the top of the conveyor, with all required paperwork listed under “Waivers and Documents”. You may email all forms and sign waivers ahead of time to expedite the check-in process. Check-In for both Full Day and Half Day bookings is from 8:30am – 9:30am.
Make sure you have read the Huckleberry Patch Daycare Details, Policies, and Procedures that are attached to the registration form. You will find details on what to bring with your child and have an understanding of our policies for drop-off, sickness, emergency care, medications, disciplines, expulsion and suspension, and more, as they are required by the state of Wyoming.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be charged a processing fee of $25 per child per day. Cancellations made within 72 hours of service date, or no shows will forfeit the total cost of the booking. Every effort will be made to reschedule child care bookings with 72-hour advance notice, change is subject to availability. An additional fee may apply for child care booking changes.
sick DAY CANCELLATION policy
To protect the health and wellness of all children, families, and staff in our care, we require adherence to the following illness-related cancellation policy:
Day-of Illness Reporting (Before 8:00 AM):
- If symptoms or illness (as listed in our sick policy) are emailed to daycare@grandtarghee.com before 8:00 AM on the reservation day: $25 fee per child, remainder issued as stored credit.
Same-Day Illness Cancellations After 8:00 AM or Sick Drop-Offs:
- If illness is reported after 8:00 AM, or if a sick child is dropped off or sent home due to symptoms, a full day’s reservation will be charged.
Please refer to our full sick policy for symptoms that exclude a child from care. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and healthy!
age policy
Please understand and respect our Age requirements as they are in place to comply with our Childcare Licensing with Wyoming Department of Family Services. Your child must be of age before the start of their first enrollment date.
Please note: if you misrepresent your child’s age purposefully or by mistake, the reservation you booked will be treated as a ‘day of cancellation’ which means the entire fee is forfeited, unless we are able to rebook as an age-appropriate option.
