Cross-country skiers racing on a snowy trail with mountains in the background.

Teton Ridge Classic

For more than two decades, the Teton Ridge Classic (TRC) has been one of the premier classic ski races in the region — a true community event built around great tracks, great people, and our unique Teton Valley vibe.

Like many Nordic events across the country, snow conditions have been challenging this winter. To ensure we can deliver the quality race experience you deserve, the 2026 TRC is relocating to Grand Targhee Resort, where snow coverage is significantly better and the skiing is excellent.

We’re incredibly grateful to Grand Targhee for making a last-minute change and stepping up as a true community partner. Huge thanks as well to TVTAP (Teton Valley Trails and Pathways) — TRC’s nonprofit beneficiary and an essential behind-the-scenes force in grooming support and race logistics.

Race Distances

For 2026, TRC will feature:

  • Kids 1/2km and 2km
  • 8km, 14km, and 28km classic races

We will do our best to keep race distances as close as possible to the original formats, though final kilometer totals may vary slightly depending on final course routing.
