Conditions Update

It’s shaping up to be a classic mid-winter day at Grand Targhee, with mostly clear skies, cold temps, and calm winds setting the tone. Summit temperatures are starting the day in the low teens and warming into the upper teens this afternoon, with light northwest winds keeping things crisp but comfortable. No new snow is expected today, but cold overnight temperatures have preserved the snow surface, making for firm, fast conditions and plenty of edge hold.

Looking ahead, high pressure sticks around through Monday before a pattern shift midweek brings increasing clouds and a chance for snowfall starting late Wednesday into the weekend—stay tuned, winter isn’t done yet.
