Welcome to the huckleberry patch!
Let your little ones have fun while you hit the trails! Our licensed daycare is perfect for kids ages 1 to 6. We provide a full day of tailored, age-appropriate programming that includes indoor and outdoor activities.
Toddler Program (1 - 2 years): Your toddler will enjoy a day full of free play, songs, books, imagination-based activities, arts and crafts, gross motor and interactive fine motor skill games.
Preschool Program (3-6 years): Your preschooler will let their imagination soar with our play based, adventure programming. Each day is filled with play time, songs, books, peer activities, crafts, and outdoor exploration!
They'll enjoy the magic of summer in the mountains while you enjoy your day!

Half Day bookings may be made online at least 24 hours in advance, based on availability. After 24 hours, please call (307)-353-2300 ext. 1326 for more information. To receive the $55 price, please book more than 48 hours in advance, bookings under 48 hours will be $70.
QUICK NOTES
- Space is limited. Advanced bookings recommended, especially during event times and holidays.
- Snacks and Lunches are NOT provided. You will need to bring a lunch box of all snacks & lunch items for your child for the day. Please note: we are a peanut and tree nut free
- Please complete and email all necessary forms and waivers ahead of time; they can be found below in Waivers and Documents.
- Immunization Records or an Exemption Letter (from the state, due to medical or religious reasons) is required.
- Please check the weather and bring cold/rain/hot weather clothing for outside play time.

Book online or through our daycare team at daycare@grandtarghee.com. If emailing the team, please provide the following information to expedite the process:

CHeck-In
Please check-in at the Huckleberry Patch Daycare with all required paperwork listed under “Waivers and Documents”. You may email all forms and sign waivers ahead of time to expedite the check-in process. Please bring a spare change of clothes and any necessary items that your child may need for the day.
Make sure you have read the Details, Policies, and Procedures that are attached to the registration form. You will find details on what to bring with your child and have an understanding of our policies for sickness, emergency care, medications, disciplines, expulsion and suspension, and more, as they are required by the state of Wyoming.
what to bring
All items must be brought daily. please label all items with your child's name.
- Water bottle
- Snacks and lunch, meals are not provided. No peanuts or tree nuts allowed due to allergies. We cannot heat items (except for bottles).
- Change of clothes (shirt, shorts, socks, underwear)
- Rain jacket
- Warm layers - the mornings can be chilly!
- Brimmed sun hat - for sun protection
- Sneakers/Outdoor shoes - must be closed toed and sturdy
- Indoor shoes/Sandals
- Sunglasses - to protect against UV rays
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray (optional)
- Favorite mat, blanket, stuffed animal, or soothing item for rest time (optional)
- ONLY medications needed for the medical consent form that has been discussed and signed with daycare staff
- Toddler diapers and wipes (if applicable)
- Formula or Expressed Human Milk (if applicable). Formula must be in it's original container and expressed human milk must be labeled with child's name and date.
Daily Schedule
All kids must wash hands upon entering.
- 8:00am - Staff Arrives
- 8:30am - Employee Drop Off
- 9:00am - 9:45am - General Public Drop Off/Registration - Free Play
- 9:45am - 10:15am - Clean-up/Morning Meeting/Snack - snacks must be brought from home
- 10:15am - 10:30am - Sunscreen/Bathroom/Ready for Outside
- 10:30am - 11:45am - Walking Field Trip/Outdoor Play
- 11:45am - 12:30pm - Wash up & Lunch - lunch must be brought from home
- 12:30pm - 2:00pm - Quiet/Rest Time - after 30 minutes of rest, any kids who want to, will be able to work on quiet activities such as puzzles, coloring, reading, play dough. If ratios allow, kids will be able to play outside or in another room.
- 2:00pm - 2:30pm - Wake Up/Snack/Get Ready for Outside - snacks must be brought from home
- 2:30pm - 3:30pm - Outdoor Adventure or Arts & Crafts
- 3:30pm - 4:30pm - Free Play/Games/Read Aloud
- 4:30pm - General Public Pick Up
- 5:00pm - Employee Pick Up
- 5:30pm - Staff Leaves
If you are going to be later than 10:00am, please call us at 307-353-2300 x1326 and let us know. In the mornings we will often be going on walking field trips with the kids and might not be available to come back quickly for a drop off. Thanks for understanding!
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be charged a processing fee of $25 per child per day. Cancellations made within 72 hours of service date, or no shows will forfeit the total cost of the booking. Every effort will be made to reschedule child care bookings with 72-hour advance notice, change is subject to availability. An additional fee may apply for child care booking changes.
If your child is sick or you experience travel delays, please let us know as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to reschedule your child to a different date. If another date is not an option, stored credit will be applied to your account.
Waivers and Documents
Please fill out and email the registration document along with immunization records or exemption letter prior to arrival to The Huckleberry Patch at daycare@grandtarghee.com.
