Avalanche Dog Demo Days

Every Sunday, Grand Targhee Ski Patrol invites guests to experience one of the most impressive—and heart-warming—traditions on the mountain: Avalanche Dog Demo Days.

Held at 2:00pm at the top of the Sacajawea lift near the Patrol Shack, these live demonstrations showcase the incredible training, focus, and power of Targhee’s avalanche dogs. Watch as Patrol works alongside their four-legged partners to demonstrate real-world search techniques used to keep our mountain safe.
