The Teton Adventure Challenge combines Grand Targhee’s best kid-friendly adventures into one easy activity pass packed with exploration, discovery, and prizes along the way.
Choose your Adventure Pass, grab your challenge booklet, and head out across the mountain to complete fun missions like Observation Ops at the top of Fred’s Mountain, the 5 Senses Challenge, and the GTR Mining Co. Treasure Hunt.
Once completed, return to the Activity Center to claim your prizes. Remember, the more challenges you finish, the bigger the reward.

Quick Notes:
- The Teton Adventure Challenge is available for kids 12 & younger.
- GTR Mining Co. Area is open daily from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
- Scenic Chair Ride is available daily on Dreamcatcher from 9:00am - 5:00pm. One ticket is good for three rides.
- Purchase in advance online or in person at the Activity Center. If you pre-purchase the Adventurer or Trailblazer Pass, you will make you mining bag selection when you check in at the Activity Center.

Prospector Mining – 3 oz. of gems

Dino Fossil Find – 6 oz. of fossils

HOURS OF OPERATION
GTR Mining Co. is open daily from 10:00am – 4:00pm. Scenic chair rides are available daily on Dreamcatcher from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
GTR Mining Co. Mining bags are non-refundable. Scenic Chair Lift Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All Teton Adventure Challenge purchases non-refundable. If a guest is unable to use their booking the day they booked for, they may transfer it to a future date during the 2026 Summer Season. If the Resort closes the GTR Mining Co. or lift operations, the value of the unused items are subject to be returned to stored value on your account.
EXCEPTIONS
If the guest chooses not to use their pre-purchased Teton Adventure Challenge due to weather conditions or physical inability, or misinformation, we will offer to issue a Gift Card for the remaining balance. Any consumed activities will be deducted at full price.
If the Resort closes the GTR Mining Co. or lift operations at any point in time due to weather conditions or maintenance issues and the guest is not able to transfer the booking to other dates, they will be refunded for any unused items. The Teton Adventure Challenge will be refunded, minus activities consumed applied at full price.
Check-In information
Guests who pre-purchased the Teton Adventure Challenge, please visit the Activity Center to check in and sign your waiver in person if you did not sign it at check out. Please have your confirmation email available.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a release form if it has not already been completed online.
