Our Rental Shop makes it easy to get the right skis for your day on the mountain.
We offer two simple options:
- Basic Package – Perfect for beginner to intermediate skiers who want reliable, easy-to-handle skis to explore the mountain with confidence.
- Premium/Demo Package – Ideal for advanced skiers who want higher-end skis with the flexibility to swap models based on conditions. Giving you the freedom to try what works best that day.
Here’s the local secret: Grand Targhee powder is deep—really deep. Very few skiers have experienced snow like this, and the right gear makes all the difference. That’s why we stock a fleet of powder-specific skis from the best brands, designed to keep you floating instead of fighting the snow.
And because skis belong on snow, not your shoulder, every rental comes with complimentary on-mountain ski check. Skip the car-to-lift haul and save your energy for what really matters: charging through that legendary Targhee powder.

How To Book
Before you start the booking process online or through our reservations team at 307-353-2300 x1, please gather the following information for each guest:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Skier Type
- Height
- Weight
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Sign our Winter Activities Liability Waiver
Check-in
Check in at either Habitat in Driggs or the on-mountain Rental Shop with a photo ID and credit card. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult to sign the rental agreement.
The on-mountain Rental Shop is located on the lower level of the Rendezvous Lodge. Habitat Driggs is located at 18 N Main St.
Pick-Up Times:
On-mountain: 3:00pm - 5:00pm the day before your rental starts, or in the morning the day your rental begins starting at 8:30am.
In town at Habitat Driggs: 3:00pm - 6:00pm the day before your rental starts, or in the morning the day your rental begins starting at 8:00am.
Important: Rentals must be picked up at the location you selected during online booking. For your convenience, skis may be dropped off at either location at the end of your rental.
If you are taking Lessons, please make sure to sign our Winter Activities Liability Waiver prior to arrival. During holidays and busy time periods, we recommend to check-in at least 30 minutes ahead of the lesson scheduled time.
If you have not reserved your equipment in advance, please use one of the self-entry stations to start the check-in process. The following information will be required to complete the process: First & Last Name, Date of Birth, Skier Type, Height, Weight, Email Address, Phone Number. Bookings not made in advance are subject to the holiday/walk-up rate.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be charged a $25 processing fee per rental unit. Cancellations made within 72 hours of service date, or no shows will forfeit the total cost of the rental.
Skier Type
Providing your Skier Type will help our Rental Shop determine your bindings set up.
- Type – I: Never Ever Skier
- Type I: Beginner Skier
- Type II: Intermediate Skier
- Type III: Expert Skier
- Type III+: Extreme Skier
