When visiting the Tetons, Grand Targhee Resort is a must-stop destination. This year-round mountain resort is tucked away on the western slope of the Teton Range in Alta, Wyoming. Located in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, the combination of character and charm make the area truly unique. Consistent powder in the winter and endless hiking and biking trails in the summer create a great family-friendly mountain experience while lodging in the Tetons. In addition to being an iconic destination on its own, the resort is conveniently located within two hours of entrances to both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Despite its proximity to both national parks, you will have plenty of elbow room at Grand Targhee during your visit to the Tetons.
