Free Guided Hikes and XC Bike RIDES
Enjoy Grand Teton Views from our epic summit hikes at Grand Targhee. This summer, get to know the Tetons a bit better by joining us for a FREE guided hike or cross -country mountain bike ride with our Mountain Hosts. Meet our hosts Thursday – Sunday at 10:00am in the Plaza near the large trail map.
Hikes
After a ride up the Dreamcatcher Lift, our Hosts will guide you either around the top of Fred’s on the Summit Trail or back down to the base via the Bannock trail while informing you about the rich history and unique geology of the Tetons. The trail chosen will depend on group size, comfort level and ability to ensure the best experience for everyone. A scenic ticket purchase is required to ride the lift.
Bikes
If you are looking for a guided MTB experience to get aquatinted with our trails, our hosts can escort you into Rick's Basin and beyond.
Quick Notes
- Bring an extra layer, mountain weather changes fast; be prepared for sudden storms.
- Wear closed-toed shoes that are ideal for walking in rugged/rocky terrain.
- Bring water. Staying hydrated is the best way to deal with the elevation.
- Scenic Chair Lift ride down is complimentary to all visitors.
