All camping reservations are for 4 nights of camping beginning on 8.8.24. Unused nights will be forfeited and may not be transferred to another guest.

All parking passes are for 3 days of Festival Parking beginning on 8.9.24. If you purchase a 3-Day Festival Parking Pass, sleeping in your vehicle is permitted as long as your vehicle is 18' or under. You do not need to leave each day and come back.

Camping Quick Notes

  • All camping areas open up Thursday 8.8.24 at 12:00PM MST. 
  • As you approach the entrance to Targhee, those with camping passes will be directed to line up in the Lot 4 loop on the South end of the resort.
  • You will be checked in there and then instructed to drive down towards the camping area.
  • Please follow instructions from our camping and parking team as they direct you to your designated camping location.
  • Trailer and vehicle used to tow count as one. Personal vehicles count as a separate unit. 
  • Guests that do not have a camping reservations are not allowed to access the camping area. 
  • Reservations can be made for a camping zone, but not a specific site. If you want to camp with friends or family, please book the same zone and caravan to the Resort together for the best chances of camping near each other. We cannot guarantee parties will be located next to each other.
  • Access to the pool will not be available to camping guests during the Festival. 

Parking Quick Notes

  • If you have not purchased a 3-day parking pass, there will be NO ON-SITE PARKING for the festival. There will be free parking at TETON HIGH SCHOOL with shuttles running regularly to and from the parking lot. Overnight parking at the high school will not be allowed.
    • IF YOU SHOW UP TO GRAND TARGHEE WITHOUT A PARKING PASS, YOU WILL BE TURNED AROUND AND TOLD TO PARK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL.
  • Parking passes are issued to a specific person (Max 1 pass per person).
  • ID verification may be requested at any time.

How to book

  • All camping and parking reservations must be made in advance.
  • Click "Book Now" above to purchase. All bookings will take place via TicketSignUp. 
  • Please review what's included for each site prior to making a selection. 
    • Undesignated camping is sold PER PERSON. 
    • Designated spots in the parking lots or walk in trees are sold PER SITE with a max number of vehicles and people. 

Camping check-in 

  • All camping areas open up Thursday 8.8.24 at 12:00PM MST.

  • Please have your Camping purchase confirmation QR code either printed out or on your phone. Please remember that wifi can be spotty, we recommend taking a screenshot of your QR code.

  • You may check-in any time after 12:00PM on Thursday 8.11.24. Check-out time is 11:00AM on Monday 8.14.23. 

Parking Check-In

All parking passes are for 3 days of Festival Parking beginning on 8.9.24, check-out time is 11:00AM on Monday 8.14.23. There are no single day parking passes.

Check-in with your parking pass QR code and valid driver's license at the main Resort entrance to receive your 3-day tag.

Camping & Rv parking rules

  • Maximum number of persons and vehicles may not exceed the advertised maximums per campsite. Additional personal vehicles/guests will require to book an additional site.
    • Walk-In Tent Camping: 4 guests/1 vehicle
    • Undesignated Meadow Camping with Car: 1 vehicle, price listed is per person
    • Undesignated Meadow Camping with No Car: 0 vehicles, price listed is per person
    • Parking Lot 20x30 Camping: 6 guests/2 vehicles, price listed per site
    • Parking Lot 20x40 Camping: 6 guests/2 vehicles, price listed per site
    • Parking Lot 20x65 Camping: 6 guests/2 vehicles, price listed per site
  • Trailer and vehicle used to tow count as one. Personal vehicles count as a separate unit. 
  • 20x65, 20x40, and 20x30 sites allow only ONE camper or RV, the second vehicle may not be a second camper towed behind a vehicle or another RV.
  • Do not camp or park on trails.
  • Camping permits must be hung from your rear-view mirror, taped to the windshield or tent. Your camping permit must be visible at all times.
  • Portable toilets and showers, drinking water and trash and recycling receptacles are available in the camping area. 
  • No electrical, water, or waste hook-ups are available. 
  • Food must be stored in bear resistant containers or in hard-sided vehicles (enforced through the Caribou-Targhee National Forest) . 
  • No smoking, open campfires or charcoal grills.
  • Gas grills and gas fire pits are allowed but must be stored inside vehicle when to in use. During fire bans, they may also be prohibited. 
  • Be mindful of your fellow campers and lodging guests. 
  • Access to the pool and fitness cabin are not included. 
  • Pets are strongly discouraged for the safety of guests and pets themselves. If you were unaware of our policy, and do not have any other options for your pet, please respect the following:
    • Pets are permitted in the parking lots only and must be kept in the owner's vehicle when not being walked on leash in the parking lots.
    • Pets are NOT allowed in the festival venue, tent camping areas or in the Plaza area, excluding service animals
    • Pets are NOT permitted to run loose nor are pets to be secured outside of any vehicle when the owner is not present. 

Note: Our Meadow camping sites are not leveled and have a dirt access road. It is the responsibility of the camper to assess safe access/exit to and from their site. Should any vehicles need assistance to remove themselves from the area, the camper will be responsible for contacting a tow truck service. Grand Targhee Resort is not responsible for towing vehicles out. 

Starting Monday April 22nd, UPHILL TRAVEL WILL BE CLOSED  Monday – Thursday until further notice. 

Friday - Sunday the snow access at the base area will be limited due to ongoing construction projects. The recommended uphill route it the Teton Vista Traverse. Active heavy equipment, winch cables and other dangerous equipment will be on the mountain, so please ski with caution at all times.
