Mountain Report

Conditions Update

7" of new snow fell yesterday at the Chief Joe weather plot, and we’re more than happy to see it stack up. The storm tracked into the Tetons from the south, putting Targhee on the edge of a strong system and delivering solid totals across the mountain. Snowfall amounts varied by location, with different weather plots reporting different numbers thanks to scattered showers throughout the day.

Today brings a return to calmer conditions, with occasional flurries possible and temperatures holding in the low 20s. Expect soft surfaces, good coverage, and a classic mid-winter feel on the hill.
