Mountain Report

Conditions Update

Happy vernal equinox! Daylight is on the upswing and the weather is playing along, with a warm stretch settling in across the mountain. An inversion kept temps mild overnight Fred’s hasn’t dipped below 40° in the last 24 hours, with mid-mountain and the base only cooling to the mid-30s—so any overnight refreeze will be shallow and should soften up quickly this morning.

Expect a high around 46° today with lighter winds backing down into the low teens, making for a comfortable day on hill. Conditions will lean firmly into spring, soft early, then smooth corn turns as the day goes on.
