Happy Groundhog Day! This week it’s going to feel a lot more like spring as temperatures rise and the sun comes out.
Today stays mostly clear with just a few passing clouds, light winds around 3–5 mph, and temperatures climbing into the low 20s at the summit. No new snow is expected, and precipitation chances remain near zero—so expect a bit of softening on sunny aspects this afternoon. Enjoy the sunshine and classic cruising conditions while this stretch of calm weather holds.

Winter Season Reporting Sources
The Grand Targhee Resort Huckleberry Conveyor, Dreamcatcher and Shoshone lifts operate from 9:00am-4:00pm. The Sacajawea lift operates from 9:00am-3:45pm. The Colter and Blackfoot lifts operate from 9:00am-3:30pm.
24 hour totals are updated every morning at 7:00am. Additional accumulations between 7:00am and lift opening can be found by viewing the hourly data from the sources above. All snow accumulated after 7:00 am is included in the next day's 24 hour snowfall total.
Physical measurements are recorded during the day with season totals adjusted accordingly. The Stick of Truth webcam is cleared off every day at 9:00am. Check in on the Stick of Truth to get an idea of how much snow has fallen since the lifts started.
