Parking Information

winter Parking at Grand TargHee

We appreciate your patience with parking on busier days here at Targhee. Our parking lot attendants work hard to help guests park in a timely fashion, making the best use of available spaces, so please follow their direction when you arrive.

Please be advised that on powder days, weekends or weekend powder days traffic to Grand Targhee will be heavier and parking will fill up early. Please plan ahead and arrive early or take an earlier shuttle. On powder weekends, you can expect the parking lots to fill up before 9:00am.

Consider carpooling or taking the shuttle from Driggs or Victor. Check out the winter Teton Valley Bus schedule here.

In Lot 1, the first few rows and the back half is free on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be a few designated rows for paid parking during peak holiday timing and on powder days. When paid parking is open, it is $20 and can be paid by credit card only. Holidays are: 12/17/23 – 1/2/24, 1/13/24 – 1/15/24, and 2/16/24– 2/19/24. Lots 2, 3, and 4 are all free.

Vehicles must fit into standard parking spaces. Please try to limit trailers.

PARKING LOT SHUTTLE & TETON VALLEY BUS INFORMATION

We provide dedicated parking lot shuttles that service the farther out lots throughout the day with dedicated shuttle stops. As always, we encourage the use of the free Teton Valley Bus.

SKI HILL ROAD ALERT

Please respect our neighbors through Alta, drive the speed limit, and do not pass. We all want to arrive at the mountain safely. Those few extra minutes will not make a difference in your day.

On busy days, we may prioritize our shuttle buses by stopping downhill traffic to allow for the shuttle to access the resort. Please DO NOT follow the shuttle bus if it is driving up in the downhill traffic lane.
