Boarding For Breast Cancer Fundraiser – Meet The Artists
We’re teaming up with Boarding for Breast Cancer and their Shred the Love Series on March 15 & 16 for 2 days of fun! This weekend we’ll host a Silent Auction and Art Show featuring local artists, Après & Paint with Teri McLaren, the Pink Poker Run and more! Join us and show your support for Boarding for Breast Cancer.
Looking for a fun way to give back? Local artists are too! Join us from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the upstairs portion of Rendezvous Lodge for an art show, a silent auction and an Après and Paint interactive event.
Each artist will be contributing a piece of their own to the silent auction and all proceeds raised during the auction will go to Boarding for Breast Cancer. The artists will have display booths as well for you to view. Don’t forget to enjoy the après provided by Grand Targhee, including a beer and wine cash bar and music.
Check out our featured artists, and join us on Friday to check out their creations!
Aimee Babneau was born and raised in Southeast Idaho. She has called Pebble Creek and Grand Targhee home for nearly 30 years and enjoys growing even deeper roots through adventure and art. She finds inspiration in people, music and everyday life in the Tetons.
Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Emily’s love for skiing and desire to be in the mountains separated her from many she grew up with. And so, these days she calls Teton Valley home. She’s constantly inspired by her surroundings and tapping into her creative side has become what keeps her grounded. She’s excited to support B4BC and get the chance to share her passion with the community!
Georgia born, Helen Seay attended the University of Georgia in Athens focusing on Graphic Design and Scientific/Medical Illustration. On graduation day she packed up and migrated west to Glacier National Park where her creativity blended with her adoration of nature. Her love of mountains and clean air to breathe brought her to Teton Valley, Idaho. Here, much of her inspiration from the natural world still reflects in her artwork. Recently, Helen has taken on costume making and is working on creating a line of clothing dedicated to making people smile. Another one of her seemingly endless projects is a kids book that she is writing and illustrating. She loves loving, creating, dancing, and assisting others in those same things, smiling while doing it all.
