Top Things To Do Before Summer Ends: Local’s Edition

Whether you’ve made Teton Valley your home because of the deep powder winters, or the gorgeous wildflower summers, it’s certain that this place is pretty special. But, it can be just as easy to get stuck in the day to day grind here. With the stress we’ve all been dealing with lately, it’s more important than ever to get outside, adventure, and enjoy all the beauty that this area has to offer. Unbelievably so, the warmer months are coming to an end and winter will return. It’s time to start checking off your must dos before the snow flies!

1. TREAT YOURSELF TO A SLOPESIDE DINNER

The Branding Iron is open for dinner every night from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, and a midweek slopeside dinner is a fun and easy way to spice up the week! We’ve recently been joined by our new Executive Chef, Chris Park, and guests have been raving about his new menu. Pair the dinner with a pre-dinner bike ride, and you’ve got yourself the perfect evening!

2. take a hike

Take a social distanced hike through Rick’s Basin with some friends and the pups, and experience the fall colors. This is a great way to disconnect and recharge, without straying far from home.

3. PLAN A STAYCATION

Traveling is a bit different these days, but we are lucky to call beautiful Teton Valley our backyard. Grand Targhee’s Meadow Campsites are close to home, easy to book and make for enjoyable slopeside mornings that are just a quick pedal to miles of epic mountain biking.

4. Buy Your Season Pass

Of course we need to make the most of summer, but we also need to prepare for the imminent winter! It’s time for evening ski videos, and a good ol’ “gear check” to make sure you’re ready for when the time comes. It’s also time to buy your season pass, because through September 30, 2020 you have a chance to save up to $430 on your season pass.  Buy with piece of mind, because you’ll be awarded a full refund upon request any time before October 15, 2020.
