CAN I BRING MY PET TO GRAND TARGHEE RESORT?

We love dogs and welcome them up here at the Ghee, but it is your responsibility as the owner to keep your dog safe and under control. We are not responsible for any altercations between dogs or their owners.

  • Dogs must be on a leash or tethered in the parking lot and plaza area. Do not tie your pet to trees, posts, fences, tables or other resort structures.
  • Pets must be directly always supervised by an adult while on resort.
  • Pets are not allowed in buildings.
  • Dogs may be off-leash on trails in the summer, but they must be under voice control. If they are not or are a nuisance, this will result in a verbal warning and removal from the resort grounds.
  • Dogs must not chase wildlife. If we see this happen, this will result in a verbal warning and removal from the resort grounds.
  • It gets hot and cold, so pets should not be left unattended in locked vehicles. The resort will intervene if we see this.
  • It is acceptable to leave your pet in your trailer/motor home as long as it is not a nuisance to your neighbor.
  • All pet owners are responsible and expected to pick up and dispose of pet waste. Failure to do so will result in a verbal warning and removal from the resort grounds. Please pick up waste if directly on or near the edge of a trail.
    • Pet Waste Stations are located:
      • In the Trees in Lot #2.
      • In Front of the Targhee Lodge.
      • In Lot #4.
      • Near the Trap Bar.
